Marinda Convis is an award-winning singer, actor, visual artist, and writer from Southern California. As the progeny of an eccentric family full of photographers, artists, and theater professionals, Marinda has been performing since 6 years old. She fell deeper in love with the stage while studying at the University of Redlands, where she graduated magna cum laude with degrees in Theater and Creative Writing, and honed her craft further with training from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Since then, Marinda has performed all over the Inland Empire, forming close relationships with the incredible artists of this community and collaborating with them as both a performer and a writer in original musicals, independent films, stand-up comedy events, murder mysteries, and more. She also has extensive improv training  with Upright Citizens Brigade and currently performs with her improv troupe, Pulp Fictional.

Beyond performance, Marinda values comedy, joy, and empathy. She has goals not only of performing all around the world, but also of creating diverse spaces that shine a light on the marginalized and prioritize those that have been cast aside.

Upcoming projects include an album of original comedy songs, a book of original poetry, and a monster-mask-making business. Stay tuned. Great things are on the horizon.
